Cognac is a spirit with a high alcohol content and is derived from the distillation of wine. The grapes used come from three typical white grapes of the Armagnac area: Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, St.Epillio. The place is the traditional French town of Cognac, in the province of Charente, in western France, from which the distillate is named.

Production: the original liquid is pressed with the traditional press, and must then stand for about one month, then get a white wine with low alcohol content, which will be distilled. The product is then distilled twice to reach 70 °. Then the product is subjected to a long period of aging in Slavonian oak barrels for at least three years, where lost some alcohol content and takes the characteristic flavour of cognac and the typical amber colour.

Characteristics: scented spirits very suitable for long periods of ageing
