Only the best grapes are used for the production of this Amarone. The healthiest grapes are dried in wood cases inside the orchard from the harvest till the end of january. During this months, grapes lose around the 40% of their weight in water and undergo physical and chemical transformation that will give the wine a unique bouquet and olfactory and gustative quality.
GRAPES: 70% Corvina Veronese, 20% Rondinella, 10% Molinara.
PRODUCTION’S AREA: Veneto Region. Hills in the Valpolicella Classico area.
COLOUR intense ruby red with light garnet hints after the maturation.
BOUQUET intense, with notes of red fruit jam, cherry, with final notes of vanilla
PALATE full-bodied, harmonic, velvety, round, warm, with notes of toasted oak and spices. The final note has a long persistence.
FOOD MATCHING: ideal with roasted red meat, pot roast, game, braised meat and with seasoned and hot cheeses. To serve at 18-20°C.
